Dutch Baby Pancakes

Did you know you can use your Whisk’d Pancake Mix to make different kinds of pancakes? Today we want to share how you can use Whisk’d to make Dutch Baby pancakes. Dutch Baby pancakes, also known as German pancakes, are different from the American version in two main ways—they use more eggs, and you bake them in the oven. They’re really easy to make. All you need are 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of Whisk’d Pancake Mix, 1/2 cup of milk, 4 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Once the oven reaches the temperature, put the butter in a cast iron pan or a cake pan, and put the pan in the oven to melt the butter.

Step 2: Mix the eggs, milk, Whisk’d Pancake Mix and sugar in a bowl. Mix really well until the batter is smooth and runny. You can do this by hand or with a stand mixer.

Step 3: Pour the batter into the hot pan with melted butter. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Step 4: Let the Dutch Baby pancake cool. Serve with powdered sugar, syrup or jam. I personally like them plain. Enjoy!
